Lol yeah starbucks coffee is shit. Most stuff out there is shit though. You can get decent beer and wine lots of places but it's not easy to find a place to get a cup of coffee where it isn't just treated like a commodity.

If I wanted the stomach bile of a thousand homeless alcoholics barfed onto coffee beans, which are then roasted for 72 consecutive years, and then sold to me for $5.00/cup... I'd go to Starbucks.

Starbucks is consistently below average, but never terrible. I go there if I'm in a new area and don't know a trustworthy coffeeshop. I know I can reliably get burnt, bitter coffee that is palatable but not outstanding.
