Now since at least last Thursday, I've cared deeply about the quality of posting on PCF. Not simply because internet posting quality was the last thing my father told me was important before he put me on the space craft to your world. But also because as a smaller community on this great sea of pipes and cat pictures we call the interwebs. Often, good quality posts can be buried under the same old Partisan bickering about pointless bullshit no one cares about, e.g U.S politics.

Thus, in a drunken stupor the BOJO's were born, a (if I can be bothered with more than this as its taken f**k ages) series of awards in which the best, perhaps also the worst of PCF is celebrated.

So without further ago, the nominations to be fair and shit in alphalametical order.

The defence attorney from mountain-land. Sassy, cynical and with crazy beliefs he does a good job of hiding. Its Enyon!

Scores
1) 3 – Never afraid to venture an opinion or argue for the devil, or even that rarest of things admission of fallbility. Clearly the articulate sort of fella, and in debates where often the OP and next 10 posts can be a collective shout into a cave. Often brings a little spice to a discussion, with his wacky rustic mountain beliefs. Misses out on a 4, simply as he has a habit of giving up too easy.
2) 2- Good at snappy come backs, but again, can often just be too nice and quit the field too early before Lawler powers come into play.
3) 3- A strong believer in the mutli-vectored infosplurge. Recently a pioneer of the one image post. 1 point just for the recent spate of Simpson gif's from back when that shit was still funny like 10 years ago.
4) 1 Has far more stories than he tells, attorney client privilege does not apply as could sufficiently masked. Everyone is disappoint.

One of our two 'late comers' to the party. Nonetheless, perhaps the thinking mans cat picture poster. Clearly knows his economics but now branching out in surreal humor and general politics. G5000000!

Scores
1) 3- clear concise, and the rarest of things, persuasive. Again only misses out on a 4 by the barest of margins due to confining him self to a limited range of topics. Branch out a bit more and could end up being the true multi-spectrum warrior.
2) 2- In one sense its hard to argue for his wit, you so clearly seen people engage with him on a 1:1 basis as the first post tends to floor most opposition. But recently with the surreal stuff, we've seen a side of him that displays a cheekier edge.
3) 3 – I was going to say room for improvement here. But pushed into a safe 3 with recent posts. The one about bee's for example. Very noice. More of those and could be a strong contender for this categories leader.
4) 0 – Obvious weak point, clearly works in something with moniez, do we know. Nope. Sorry you can't hold back no matter how good you are in the other categories and get a perfect 4.

JDHurf

Everyone’s favorite grumpy Marxist-somethingorother. However, whether or not your like your private property, there's no denying the 'hurf' is an intellectual force to be reckoned with. Irking his ire can have you buried under 4 pages of well researched counter points. Watch out J.D's ABOUT!

Scores
1) 4 – the true heavy weight of this category. Always with something to say and capable of dispensing epically long thesis's at you, when you've made the mistake of questioning his understanding of an academic subject. Be it peter signer or crop rotation techniques in Bangladesh.
2) 1 -I often find it a shame that when push comes to shove, JD simply calls you a dick. Could do a lot lot better here.
3) 1 – again, not his strongest point. The wall of text that would fail a lot of word limit requirements on undergrad essays can be informative, but its a tad dry like most of the time.
4) 1 – clearly brings real world experience to bear, but only slightly less of an enigma than G5000 about who the real JD is.

Sandman

Despite being one of the longest timers in this list, easily the most of an enigma. Appears from nowhere in threads about this that or anything, to dispense calm reasoned judgement, and then disappears like a morning mist. Its the SANDMAN!

1) 3 – Perhaps one of the clearest posters to read, easily one of the most thought provoking when talking about wars and shit.
2) 2 – again, a victim of being too reasonable and being all informative and shit, needs more sass.
3) 1 – I won't say i've never seen him post a video or a photo to make a point, I will say I've not seen one on PCF III redux that has really stayed with me.
4) 4- The easy winner of this category. Rarely on the internet are there posters who calmly and concisely bring examples of their real world experience to bring a point to bear. Like a bear, rawr!

The Comrade

Arguably a child of PCF, the comrade can quite often be 'that obsessive guy who kills the thread by not letting things go'. Yet even if you disagree with him, sometimes he can just find that cheaky little way to warm your heart. Ahmahgerd its, THE COMRADE!

Scores
1) 2- Strong and persistent, often extremely good at researching the floor out from underneath someone’s else’s argument. Misses out of a 3, simply because seeing comrade admit fault would be like watching a man try to eat his own head.
2) 3 – Sassy little bitch, I have a feeling might even look a bit like a plumper wild IRL. Probs would have gotten a 4 if not for worries about his ego and the odd bit of repetitiveness in mannerism.
3) 4 – The true silver-back gorilla of this category. Now i'm not just talking about the cat pictures, but many a time we've all seen a debate finally put down with a tactical youtube video or picture. HOWEVER, Much like Obama's peace price, the 4 is awarded in part in light of future promise.
4) 2 – Who doesn't find the (future) story of him stripping to fund his architect schooling truly touching. Room for improvement nonetheless as beyond liking cat pictures, little about the com of now.

Wizardfromoz

Our other late comer, from down under and yet, up for a debate in nearly anything. Also proving himself a bit of a history buff. For thouse of you who don't know (I didn't at first) its MG1962 from the old country. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain, its the WIZARDFROMOZ!

1) 2 - Intellectually honest, polite, adventurous in OP's, but too often these days a bit too staccato. Perhaps simply waiting to find his sea legs again on this ship of fools. But for the time being not quite BOJO standard.
2) 3- I can't always 100% put my finger on it, but theres something of a flow to his prose that particularly gives it a bit of pull. Also I imagine it all in a austrialian asscent which makes me giggle. Give it a try. YUR WERRINING UNNECESARILY ABERT THE FISCARL CLIFF, MATE. SHRIMP ON THE BARBIE.
3) 1- Again a similar situation as another nominee, not that he never does it. Nor or then, but nothing thats really stayed with me and warmed the long winter nights as the giggles produce heat within my thorax.
4) 1- Weak here also at present, motivations, loves, desires, IRL experience. And why they effect me. I need to know more to give a higher score here.

John Galt
-Arguably now the love child of Nietzsche and Rand. Much like a fine wine and time, having a shit time seems to have greatly sharpened JG's cynicism to the point where his bile filled quips can often be real side splitters. Just needs to find he groove again and all will be well in the land of misanthropic objectivists.

The Dharma Bum
-Crazy nonsense he may believe, but god damn it, the man has the courage of his convictions! For arguing the impossible, a PCF must. A little less 'ur ghey' and would have easily been on here.

NAB
-Since using the electric guitar on stage, NAB has divided opinion. I for one remember the good old days of the sassy one liner, and think just because he's now taken the cloth, doesn't mean it those days have to die.


ADDENDUMZ

1) Don't like my scores, think i'm bias. Nae mah problem. If you have a guy you want to win, arguing for it, is your problem, bitch. Being a good arguer is what this shit is all about son.

5) Seriously for a second, there were good posters who missed out entirely. The entire of this way to make something that a) actually had some meaning and b) was not simply a list of my BFF's, c) everyone could get involved in.
