This activity could probably help humans can alleviate their deep rooted anxiety about the inevitability of death. Modern society creates a zone of isolation around people that I think aggravates mild mental disturbances and probably causes something easily treatable to develop into a chronic affliction. Even though we are surrounded by people constantly most are unknown to us and we substitute characters on TV shows for the real people in our lives.

Humans are social animals and all social animals use touch to communicate with others of their species. This is just another of the ways we have distanced ourselves from what we really are, which is slightly more evolved bonobos.

Perhaps cuddle parties should be mandatory. It could solve the mass shooting problem.
