genres i don't like:
country, all kinds
christian anything
most things labeled as avant garde
i listen to stuff in pretty much every other genre besides stupid made up genres that only apply to one or two bands.

i don't see how meshuggah is avant garde. other than palm muting everything in their songs follow a pretty standard sound and structure.
