I was actually expecting more from that Steelers game.

Being at the Ravens game to watch them demolish the Giants was fun. For once they used more blitzes, actually making an effort to drop Manning, all but erased Victor Cruz for the game and scored TDs when they needed to. There was one Ravens drive in 3rd quarter where they kept getting flagged for offsides or holding, but they were totally BS calls. Other than that it was a good game, maybe because they had all-black on.

Not once would I have predicted the Vikings to beat Houston in their own place. With that in mind I am almost 100% certain Adrian Peterson will get to 2,000 rushing yards next week.

I'm not a fan of Merril Hoge, actually I'm not a fan of anyone on ESPN. The network has become a joke..

BUT I will give Hoge credit for being the 1st person in just about 2 years be honest about Tebow, and not being PC.. Today he flat out said Tebow can't play QB...

What he said on ESPN this morning:

Hoge: "Here's what happened in New York: they didn't realize how bad Tim Tebow was. Once he came in there, they got to see the sampling, they're like 'oh my gosh.' Not only can he not play quarterback, he's not really a good football player. He's an OK football player. Jacksonville Jaguars beware. If you think you are going to bring Tim Tebow in there to change your organization around and bring wins and fans in there, you're crazy."

He's the 1st national NFL analyst who said anything close to that.. Good for him.

f**k. This is exactly what every shlub casual football fan like myself has been saying about Tebow for a very long time. Props to Hoge for saying it on tv, but why the f**k does it take these experts so much longer than casual fans to process these basic truths.
