How broad is your musical taste?

I almost never listen to country or hip/hop although country is mostly the only thing I can't stand (at least popular country).

I generally listen to alternative, classic, post, and indie (whatever that means) rock but enjoy some folk and blues, love jazz, and adore female vocalists on piano/guitar when it clicks with me.

i probably wouldn't say it's eclectic. I do have an open mind about anything but I don't jump from hip/hop to trance to dubstep to death metal to rock to pop or anything. I have my comfort zone.

90% of my music intake these days seems to be movie scores and other instrumental. Been on a Holst kick all week.

The older I get the broader my interest in varying genres has grown. These days I'll give just about anything a chance if it's made with some integrity behind it.

However, there is on genre of music that instantly shuts down my brain: Tejano. You don't know pain until you've endured some kid thumping tejano from his pickup while sitting at a light. There are few things more painful than a accordian being blared at high volume.
