I like franz because even though I sometimes find it difficult to read his misspelled, grammatically incorrect, often broken sentences, he most often conveys interesting, substantive content. He also has a unique and idiosyncratic way about his views and analyses that I find refreshing, even when I disagree with them. He can also be quite hilarious. I will always remember his iconoclasm of Socrates: observing in his own hilarious and bizarre way that Socrates was something of a loon given to prolonged trances in which he thought gods were speaking to him. Pretty classic.
I also agree with his general estimation of the user base here which is why I don't care at all about the BOJOS outcome. I was, however, quite pleased to have qualified for the BOJOs by franz's estimation, one of the few poster's whose views I respect.
I think thedude and The Tooth are two posters who are worth serious consideration. I think Hyperion is worth such consideration as well. I enjoy Davethulhu and Indy. John Galt has his moments. Spider always makes an effort to take discussions seriously. I think he's one of the few members of the resident gun lobby who tries to operate within the realm of reason. NAB and Mr. Bill both strike me as very reasonable, with good humors. Philly has made some respectable posts recently, as has WizardfromOz.
I enjoy The Comrade for his jest and for the concise way in which he will sometimes observe the logical fallacies inherent within someone's argument. I think he would really have some interesting arguments if he just took the time to elaborate them more.
I quite enjoy eynon as a character, often very amusing, much as I enjoyed saz (who I wish would continue to participate).
Stratego has his moments, as does yass.
Also, G5000 has been making some great posts lately.
There are many other posters who I enjoy, but who don't post all that often.
