You don't understand my point. My point is, if the anti-gun lobby in the US only cares about themselves, then they are different to the anti-gun lobby in the UK. I'm only talking about the anti-gun lobby here. And the only reason I can think as to why there may be a difference is cultural. I'm saying we're culturally different in terms of thinking, I'm not suggesting cultural superiority at all. Yes the UK is capable of horrible violence. I'm just trying to suggest that guns add to violent crime, and cultural differences may also do. Eg the US is much more individualist than the UK and in some instances this is an advantage and some a disadvantage. But in no way am i suggesting superiority, just difference.
