Logically, the only limit to a right should be when it infringes on someone else's constitutionally granted rights. In the framework of gun control, the only problem is that an unreasonable person has ended the lives of many inherently reasonable children. That requires that the government protect future inherently reasonable beings from being ended in the same way. Therefore, the change needs to be in protection of the children, not curtailing of other adults rights.
