Not sure what they hope to accomplish by hitting their constituencies with lower growth. I don't see how this plays out well for anyone.

also - been reading that the new congress officially starts tomorrow
so anything that doesnt get passed by midnight tonite gets thrown out and has to start over again
so the 89-8 vote might be meaningless
there probably isnt enough time left in the day to get a revised proposal back to the senate
and apparently even if they do get something back to the senate, its designed to fail anyway
i think we are going over the cliff
