Imagine a moneyless society where services are offered on a volunteer basis only, much the way people can find help with free information already on the internet. No one goes to a paid consultant, they go to a relevant forum or something and see what the subject matter experts ie resident geeks think they should do. In a moneyless post scarcity society most services would probably be transacted in a similar manner.

In Australia we went down the road of decentralizing essential government services. Sydney for instance has your classic CBD but also has a ring of about 10 minor commercial CBDs ringing it. This means people can take care of much of their business without traveling out of their district. Takes a lot of pressure off transport infra structure etc, and has allowed the city to physically grow larger than London or even Los Angeles, even though we still only have a fraction of the population either city has
