humans evolved with having scarce food. it's understandable the drive to eat more -- i get it too. but humans also evolved for running long distances. of course, that was to catch food. now we can just drive to the take out window, which, yes, is very easy. still, you can have self control

I think a few individuals can certainly transcend the environment and do more but it's really pretty rare and exceptional behavior and you can't can't base your expectations for society on anything but what is most common.

Obesity is not most common. Its strictly a western thing, and is very unnatural. Everyone is capable of getting into shape. They know they are fat, they know how to not be fat. They choose to remain fat...simply because its easier.

Losing weight is the only major body change you can make by not doing something. By sitting and your ass and maintaing a caloric deficit you can lose weight. That simple.

I admit to being frankly disgusted that people think themselves so incapable of sitting on their ass and not eating that they have to have a literal drain plug installed in their gut. Makes me want to puke.

If Bulimia is a disease then so is (some) obesity, That said, i get f**k off when I see fat bastards in mobility scooters, presumably because they're too f**k fat ! This belly bilge pump gadget is disgusting, both because it is an offensive waste of food and because it is the last way we should be helping people with obesity.
