As I said in the OP, I doubt it can be argued that DDoS should be legal. However, there is a very strong argument that DDoS protests are parallel to sit-in protests. Sure, a DDoS can make a website inaccessible, but does this lunch counter look very accessible to anyone?:
That's the point behind civil disobedience people. It should cause a disturbance. It should disturb injustice and shine a light on it.
Is anyone here really willing to argue that 10 year terms are justified for DDoS attacks?
