If you wanna climb the mountain I believe there is a hotel in Mt Kinabalu park. I went there 2007 with a couple of Malay girls and we just stayed in a backpacker place in KK for one night before driving to the mountain jump off point. Funny actually broke the Malaysian law by being an infidel and sharing a room with Muslim girls lol.

I cant stand backpacking and I hate camping, I need a nice hotel room with a shower, ac and internet 
. I'll try to find some hotels in the area, looks like a good climb, can you do it all in a day?
Pity Malaysia doesnt have much hos as Thailand or PI lol.
