He's not wrong for bringing up the subject or asking the questions he's asking and sorry, but Alex Jones hung himself on that appearance. Morgan just let him do it.

Again to be clear here, I support mental health background checks, not because of this or any tragedy, but because its a good idea anyway.

I'm with you on that and here's the big irony that everybody's missing.

Our mental healthcare system in this country is lacking, and that's putting it mildly. Even families with insurance struggle to get this kind of care for their kids.

NRA types point incessantly to the mental health issue (to the exclusion of the other), and they're not wrong.

Yet guess who is most staunchly opposed to... cough... health care reform? Which would be necessary to reboot our mental healthcare system?

I'm surprised nobody's noticed that yet.

off the top of my head I can't think of a major mass shooting where the guy didn't have a clear MH problem...in fact in many of these situations they were already taking meds.
