Could also be just a threat.. A 'If you don't do something, we will' threat.
It's an empty threat. But still, if the VP says it it carries some weight.

Sigmund Freud defined four parts of a psyche; the id, the ego, the superego and the stratego. The Stratego being the highest form of morality and scientific thinking.
If guns are not outlawed, the in-laws will have guns.

Stupid move by Biden though.. It just gives the loons on the right more ammo(no pun there) that Obama is a Muslim communist dictator that is bent on destroying the US, by an armed take-over or otherwise. See the OP..

I still find it highly perplexing that anti-gun advocates are really singling out assault rifles. Their murder rate is in the hundreds.
The murder rate of handguns is in the thousands, but everyone seems to want to keep handguns and their associate carry permits legal.
This may be politics, but......does not compute.
As for magazine capacity, my 9mm handgun holds 15 rounds and a 16th in the chamber when fully loaded. That is four rounds short of what a standard 20 round rifle mag holds.
