Parent complained about my FB

So apparently a helicopter parent is related to one of my friends on FB and discovered that five months ago I made a comedic status about legalizing marijuana to bring on an economic recovery through fast-food. They decided yesterday would be a perfect opportunity to complain... about something I wrote five months ago. Can I emphasize that enough?

The district tried to get me to sign a letter of apology and I refused. May lose my job, but I'll sue if they try that, yayyy.

Wish I could charge this person with stalking.

On what grounds would they try and fire you? What do you do?

And, this is EXACTLY why I don't FB. I'll keep a LinkedIn profile, but that is carefully crafted in order to present the exact face that I want the world to see. I don't want my employer (current and future), my clients, my co-workers, etc. knowing where I was last night, who my friends are, etc. Keep work at work and keep home at home.

I asked how my remarks were inappropriate. I didn't advocate breaking the law, just a political reform. I'm fairly certain firing someone for a political belief is illegal anyway.
