I started Ringworld a few years ago and just couldn't get into it. Don't remember if it was Niven's style or the book. I'll give him another shot.

Re-read Game of Thrones this week...god, Ned is such a tool. I kinda liked him the first time through, before getting introduced to the SoIaF universe. Going back and re-reading the first book...god, Ned is such a tool.
I've also reaffirmed my love for GRRM writing a book where the "villains" are the underdogs.
