What do you guys think of whole brain teaching?

Well I was thinking about how to incorporate that technique in my own industry, which is about constant training and how to create a viable task force to handle the workload. Training, not necessarily teaching, so much. If this can speed up the process it's perfect.

I think people learn more if they are all socially involved in the information being transmitted. And positive reinforcement through peer pressure is EXACTLY how to achieve that.

Yeah, work training does seem to be really outdated. It's basically lectures, quizzes, and poorly-made videos.

There was actually a bar around here that trained new bartenders by having them stay between 3-5 AM (after bars are obligated to close by the law). The manager did this to test employee's fatigue. The training went on for a week and the employee was paid the minimum wage until they passed. The boss and his friends would basically order a bunch of mixed drinks for hours. The trainee would only make about 10% of them for real, but it seemed to work. My friend became a good bartender over the course of the week.
