I didn't say no one was investigating. You and Indy just put those words in my mouth.
What I was calling into question was your rabid, near-white-washing support of a guy whose role in the affair you know literally nothing about. Only partisan loons start taking sides when the investigation hasn't even been completed.
As per the difference between saying it was AQ and a protestor... to begin, one is truthful, one is not. Also who did it will impact security protocols and how demonstrators will be viewed in the future. It also plays directly into AQs ability to harm the US... which was a selling point of the Obama administration.
It was important, regardless of political affiliation.
