Basically, I see two statements that were repeated:
Now, a lot of you here obviously recognize that those aren’t the only choices involved. We’ve got choices about war and peace. I ended the war in Iraq, as I promised. We are transitioning out of Afghanistan. (Applause.) We have gone after the terrorists who actually attacked us 9/11 and decimated al Qaeda.
To me, this means Iraq and Afghanistan.
But our prosperity at home is linked to what we do abroad. And this week’s events remind us of that. Four years ago, I promised to end the war in Iraq -- and we did. (Applause.) I said we’d wind down the war in Afghanistan -- and we are. (Applause.) And while a new tower rises above the New York skyline, al Qaeda is on the path to defeat, and Osama bin Laden is dead. (Applause.)
To me, this means that he did what he promised and is fighting terrorists.
I'm sorry man, I just don't see it, and especially don't see a reason to "hide" evidence, because attacking an embassy is bad, no matter who it is. I genuinely don't see it. I'm sorry, I think it's a huge stretch.
