No one can touch Robert Plant. Period. And, taking on RP with Stairway to Heaven with RP(who is notoriously unfriendly to and unpleasant about anyone he considers a "pretender") right there in the audience requires balls the size of dinner plates. Ann did a very, very good job as did the band. Standing there singing with Robert eyes boring a hole through ya, I would have withered and died right there.

In the 60's and 70's if a song was over 3 minutes long it got zero air time on the rock AM and FM stations. So at 8 mins. or so long Stairway to Heaven got very little air play when it 1st came out in 1971, and when they did play it they edited it to shorten it.. It was never released as a single and if my memory is correct I don't think it even made it to the top 20 when it was released.
Yet over the years in the US on the radio it's been the most requested song ever.
