Well austerity would have worked if it was actually practiced but what Britain and the rest of the EU is doing is NOT austerity.


The country is still spending massive amounts on socialist entitlements like NHS, unemployment benefits and all that. Unless you stop these programs a country will never get out of recession. Simple arithmetic: if you spend more than what you earn youre in the red.
