they dont have subways kane; mass transit largely happens between cities

my concern with the game is simcity4 allowed region play and so does this, but these maps look a lot smaller. of course in simcity4, you could just hook up all cities to one city that had garbage and just never clicked on that city again and send all your garbage there etc (exploitive) but this isn't, which is good. from what i've seen of it it looks great because of how they have the simulation working. the logic behind it all is amazing in this game, and you can see it visualized which is super awesome. i'm gonna spend a lot of time on this.

sadly i can't play simcity4 in the interim as i dont have the cd (which is needed) as my ex gf still has it along with my copy of The Road.

Ya, I'm a bit miffed about the small map sizes. Seems like they just want to keep if from being too much of a system hog. I want to build gigantic, sprawling urban wastelands, not focused little strip cities that can support skyscrapers with no suburban sprawl.

yeah from what i've seen cities look ridiculous. a cluster of skyscrapers about 2 square miles and that's it.

no the relative size is 2sq km and each region is limited to 16 cities for performance reasons

but yeah, f**k people with shit computers, i want 10sq mi cities, with regions of 30 cities

yeah i'll stick with simcity 4 or cities xl if they don't improve on this.
