what is a "robot" for this discussion? what i see as a robot is some artificial mechanical thing that does something by itself. it's not remotely controlled, it's programmed beforehand to do something. a lot of times it just does the same repetitive tasks, but smarter ones will have had a variety of conditions programmed into it, so if X do Y, etc.
input destination and then car drives you there -- car is the thing avoiding obstacles and navigating traffic. a car is certainly more physically powerful than a human and a car certainly, if there was a malfunction in it's software, easily drive off a bridge and kill everyone inside it. is the car a robot? i think yes. so there's a robot that is stronger than a human that will be used outside of industry.
