finally got around to watching jericho and was thinkin about the final borders of the show (everything east of the mississippi river belonging to the USA, everything west belonging to the ASA, and texas being an independent country). was kind of confused by the premise that the ASA was the strongest of the bunch since i always figured the majority of americans live east of the mississippi river. so i looked it up. looks like as of 2008, 126 million people live west of the mississippi river, and 178 million live east.
then i got to thinking about this forum and it struck me that the majority of the american BM's live west of the mississippi. here's a breakdown
