So...? I created this topic specifically about science education. It's a well-known, observable and documented fact that most people consider STEM harder than humanities and social sciences.
Kinda off-hand remark here but it's relevant to the posts about students being smarter than teachers: one of our biology teachers is a coach. He switches in to the class across the hall. Because it's a lab room, I oftentimes sneak in to get some necessary supplies. EVERY SINGLE DAY he's sitting on his butt showing videos. I'll notice that the lights are dimmed for about half of the class. Other time it's a quiz or test. I get that coaches spend their afternoons at school or games, but come on. Our district and many others will hire coaches and then try to figure out where they can teach.
