I am a Steelers fan, but the silver lining in a division rival winning a SB is that fellow FSU alum Anquan Boldin got a SB ring and played like a motherf*king boss all playoffs.

Oh, and that Flacco is gonna want $20mil a yr in his next contract, so finally the Ravens can be in similar cap hell as the Steelers. Bengals window might be opening.

From what I heard on the radio yesterday, the Ravens should just give Flacco the franchise tag but let him be an exclusive rights free agent, so they can work on a deal.

I'm just going to say the Niners made a bunch of mistakes that they can only put blame on themselves. Ravens played a mostly clean game and that's why they won.

I was a bit shell-shocked at how it ended. I don't understand why the Niners stopped being who they are the final 3 snaps on offense. I was petty devastated after that loss.

The NFL is lucky a) the Ravens ended up winning the game after that blackout.. If the Niners ended up coming all the way back AND God forbid beat the spread the conspiracy nuts and gamblers would have been screaming bloody murder.. and b) that football is so popular and no matter what the SB is like a national holiday now.. Lets face it the best team seldom wins the SB anymore.. Last year the Giants were 9-7, they go to SF get a few breaks and end up winning it all.. This year the Ravens lose 4 of their last 5 games, but still get in the playoffs, get a monster break in Denver, and win it all.

All that said even though I am a Steeler fan I am also an AFC fan, so I was glad Baltimore won. And I have to eat my words about Flaco.. Ravens with a 2 point lead, all the momentum is with SF and SF is on a rampage, Flaco leads the Ravens down the field to get a FG and a 5 point lead.. The difference right there between 2 points and 5 points was HUGE, and probably the game winner for the Ravens.. Big time QB'ing right there.

If the Niners came all the way back and covered it would have been Las Vegas driven BS..

Mo changes all the time in football, and I'm not a gambler, so personally I wouldn't give it a 2nd thought.. But the timing, and the change of momentum would have caused a lot of screaming from Vegas. And other 'interested parties'..

9ers could've very easily won in the final minutes if the defense hadn't stopped them, because for that 2nd half Ray Lewis and co. just kept getting dragged across the turf. It was horrendous but as always, stopping them when it matters most is what they did.

Bane was responsible for the blackout BTW. Fact.
