I'm with Winchester here. If employers want to offer sick days, they should, but they should not be forced to do it. Maybe my perception is skewed because I live in SoCal and plan on opening a business sometime next year, but it seems like our workforce feels very entitled to a lot of things and the government makes it unappealing to hire people through volumes of regulation. I have to take classes dealing with laws and regulations for operating a clinic and having employees, and I have to say that I don't want to hire anyone unless I absolutely have to, and I will dread it. As a potential employer, it is a big liability and expense.
Besides, as a clinic owner, I would prefer if my employes came to work sick. Spread that shit around, it's good for business.
