Hey I'm just throwing it out there. I don't care if the solution is private, gov't, or both. But find a solution.
I think the idea was that with one, huge client like the United States, they have unmatched negotiating power.
Of course we see perversions of this with things like Medicare Part D, where leaders gave away that power after being bribed by Big Pharma.
To your point: in theory, this should be better. In reality, with congress in the pocket of pharma... probably not.
