Oh, and just so we can all be upfront about our bonafides. Please list your qualifications to speak on this matter. And, I'm sorry, but "Well, I read a lot about it while I was in college" won't cut it.
I am the VP of an insurance company based in New Orleans, which specializes in third-party administration, full-line insurance, and program administration, including fiscal responsibility for the single largest distribution of housing grant money in the history of the United States (the Road Home Program).
I also have 7 years experience lobbying both state and Federal government.
I really am not bragging. Based upon the experience listed above, I believe that the Federal government is somewhat at fault for the housing crisis. If you believe differently, please explain what experience qualifies your opinion.
