Honestly, the laws they passed aren't that bad, but the question is why did they bother? Those laws won't have any impact on gun violence whatsoever. They are battling a statistically insignificant portion of gun violence in a way that isn't going to impact criminals. They will either continue to use their illegal magazines or just switch to a smaller one and be just as effective. Why? Because most gun murder isn't mass murder and isn't accomplished with rifles or shotguns.
Most gun violence is criminals shooting criminals with handguns.

Its just feel good legislation that gives the illusion that they are doing something. Most people are satisfied with those sort of illusions.

So who ever thats going to do whatever, just shoves a few extra clips in their pocket. What the crimminals fear most is the citizen that excercises their 2nd amnd rights.
