They probably want to screen out people too stupid to set their Facebook page to private. Employers cant see anything you don't let them see.

I don't have one. Mainly because I want my "private" life to be "private". I have worked hard to cultivate an image that I present publicly. I don't want that image ruined by FB.

You probably need a professionally managed facebook and twitter account in your business Prof. There are two sides to the public image/social networking story. You can manage information about yourself and what you do quite easily using the 'net.

There are even services to fight unwarranted negative information about yourself that are available.
