one more thing, settling is horrible. i think you are doing a major disservice to yourself and to the other person. Both people should have what they want and need and not just what happened to fall onto their lap (or in their bed). IMO settling is when you have given up looking for Mr./Mrs. Right and take Mr./Mrs. Right now instead. so what if it takes a million years to find the right person? wouldnt that be worth the wait instead of committing your life to someone you have and always will have luke warm feelings for?

There is. You'll date more once you start to freak out about that clock ticking. I know of too many people that I can just tell decided to settle. They have kids.
