Yeah I agree, but biological instincts are quite strong. That's why, even in our "civilized" society, there's way more absentee fathers than mothers.

Fair enough, Dylan. That is also why the "cheating husband" phenomenon is so much more prevalent than the "cheating wife." Too many many ignore societal rules and personal commitment in order to engage in the animal instinct to spread their DNA as much as possible.

I suppose, if we follow that, it could be why same-sex male relationships have a higher rate of "open relationships," wherein one or both parties has their partner's permission to seek out alternative sexual partners.

I'm not going to go back and forth about this. The reasons for divorces really wasn't my point.. My point is for the most part women are better parents.. Simple as that.. They have more patience, they are better at detail, they show more emotion towards the children..They are willing to spend HOURS during a day with the child, most men are not.. Biological instincts and the connection between a mother and her children are very strong and something men can't come close to..

Now I'm not saying that's 100%, that all women are good mothers/parents..That's obviously not the case, Or am I saying a man's role in bringing up children should be minimized.. 2 parents are better than one... But for the most part the bond between a mother and her child can not be matched by men. And IMO that means women make a better parent. (again, that's not 100%)
