How is my characterization inaccurate? You have already plainly stated that our current government is closer to a dictatorship/authoritarian regime than one abiding by a social contract. I am attacking the foundation of your ideology in practical terms and determining to what degree it merits consideration.
It's a simple question.
If one person disagree with a given government, is it legitimate or not?
If it is not, and you believe that government should then be abolished, then in practical terms your argument makes little sense to me. Governments are under constant attack on multiple grounds as it is, deciding that this is the bar by which to judge its legitimacy is so high that one will never be allowed to materialize.
Don't call this a strawman. Argue my point.
