I respect your opinion but being a realist and looking at this through that lens I see your idea for a future ideal society as always elusive because they are unobtainable in any practical manner or application. I never straw manned you or even attempted to, I just reacted to the arguments as they were presented to me. That's all.

If a particular individual, one with supreme authority, can order the extrajudicial assassination of a US citizen then this is a dictatorship, by definition.

The US citizen in question did not face trial. The supreme authority arbitrarily ordered his death and his underlings carried it out. How is that not how dictatorships work?

All of them have so far, I don't see upon what basis you make that statement. The kangaroo court is a constant feature of all dictatorships.

It's bureaucratic requirement if you want to imprison a very large percentage of the population in a somewhat orderly manner.

I don't think that there is any serious question that all of the items on that list happened. All of the incidents it mentions are in fact well documented.
