Just spoke with one of my employees who's from Venezuela and he told me that it's being speculated that he died a week or two ago.

Tbf, I did disagree with his restriction of free speech in certain instances. However, overall he's done a lot of good for Venezuela and he's been mainly vilified due to the ideological differences. I fear for Venezuela now as too much of the power was concentrated in Chavez. Another dictator is the last thing the region needs.
