Houston is a scary team. I really like their D and Foster is the most dynamic back in the game.

If they didn't have their 3rd string QB out there, I think they win the AFC last season. Bad luck for them, though.

Watching Texans play now. They looked pretty good in the first half, even with Beck in as QB.

Holliday just ran back back his 3rd punt return for a TD in the preseason. I know, preseason doesn't count but running back 3TDs in a preseason is promising.

Youre not missing much, preseason is meaningless- just a dress rehearsal for the regular season and a chance for rookies and free agents to make a name for themselves so they dont get cut from the team.

Last weekend for preseason is almost done. Then the real fun begins!

Talk is the NFL and the Refs are talking, informally, but that's good news.. God I hope they get something done.. the replacements have been tough to watch at times..

They won't be on the field on Weds., or Sunday.. But maybe week 2..

Yeah, in general I agree with what you're saying Ozzone, though I don't think they aren't calling things cause they don't agree. It's more likely that with all the stuff going on during a play, you tend to overlook things that you normally overlook.

The game is too fast for the replacement guys.. Hell, sometimes it's too fast for the regular refs..

Over the past 2 years or so there's been no bigger critic of the refereeing then me, it's bad.. But with these replacements it's gone to another level of bad, AND it's become comical.. You don't want that with the season starts.

If the refs have a game like they had in that Giant-Pats game? It will get ugly. remember not only is $millions of depending on if some of these times make the playoffs, BUT lots and lots of gambling money is bet every week.. And the last thing the NFL wants is people SERIOUSLY wondering if these refs/the games are on the up and up..
