as i've stated previously, franz was the worst moderator PCF/PP has ever seen. he was atrocious. actually that other guy who took over the chat on PCF and became mod for a day on PP was even worse, but franz was the worst of the main mods and i'll admit i actively campaigned to get him demodded and even wanted him banned from the site for the crap he pulled. look guys, every time you tell franz he's some sort of genius, he actually believes you. that shit really got to his head.

I didn't say he was genius or a good mod. I just said he was cool with me. I don't care about any of that other crap. As far as I'm concerned having two different levels of power on an internet group is just going to cause trouble so having "moderators" is a bad idea and that is the problem with that.

Well whoever it is, if you quit the entire community because you no longer have the power to lock threads and ban people, you probably should never have been a mod in the first place.

I don't think franz is a genius, but he is more intelligent than the average poster for sure. I by no means always agreed with him, but he would at least take an interesting position on things, sometimes a very idiosyncratic and unique one. At his best he had a way of telling it like it is that was hilarious. He once reduced the whole of Socrates into, this is from memory, a disturbed man who would fall into long trances and had spirits talking to him, which is all true. The way he put it made me lol.

I had some great conversations with him. We could go on about philosophy and then transition, somehow seamlessly, into telling debauched stories of partying and substance "experimentation," shall we say. Good times.

I missed all the e-drama, but shit happens, especially when people are dealing with drama IRL, that can easily bleed into these forums, as the Professor recently learned. Sorry about that bro, lol
