california provides 16% of total value of us agriculture/livestock. they have 12% of the population, so unless 4% of their food feeds 1/3rd of the rest of the country... nope. that wouldn't make any sense.
dairy is the biggest amount of their agriculture, at 17% of it. next is greenhouse/nursery, which i assume means flowers, at 10%
