We already know where the big targets are, and they can all be precision hit by drones. It will be over before they even knew what hit them.No need to invade or occupy at all. Imo, their strategy is extortion. We pay them to behave.
The hardest part of doing nothing is knowing when your done.

Bomb them to the stone age.
Remove all nuclear equipment and material.
Remove all leadership - all of it.
Pull out.
Let SK handle the rest.

Obviously if they ever did deploy a nuke, we should glass the capital and any residual military sites. It would be a pitiful waste of human life and the president would probably be scarred from having to make the decision, but there's no way a precedent should be established that you can get away with nuking other countries without harsh, harsh retaliation.

Japan doesn't want this situation to settle down. How else can they justify increasing the size/potency of their military? China isn't the only country that uses the DPRK as leverage in the region.
