None of these recent mass killings would have been prevented by background checks. Those kids the Democrats are exploiting for political reasons would have been just as dead had this bill passed.

Obama starts his speech with the Newtown massacre as if this legislation would have stopped it. Lanza murdered his mother and stole her guns. I wonder if a background check would have stopped that?
