Good they were able to take him alive, hopefully they'll be able to find out who else was involved.

BBC are reporting that the FBI interviewed the older brother at the request of a foreign government in 2011 because they said he had extremist connections. The FBI gave him the all clear.

If this was LAPD they would of lit that boat up with a grenade launcher and killed several pedestrians in the process.

Now it's time for the information and justice and hopefully those that were directly affected by these 2 assholes can begin to pick their lives back up.

We spend tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical costs, to try to keep this guy alive after being taken into custody. We then will spend millions in a trial to prosecute him for his crime. He will then have hundreds of thousands of dollars spent on him keeping him alive and in custody on death row for 20 years before we spend even more money to have him executed by lethal injection.

yeah an economist on cnn said it cost 330 million in lost economic activity. such numbers, i think, are bullshit, but there must have been some loss of economic activity. but whatever it is, it on top of the thousands of man hours going into this operation, as it was huge. i've never seen anything like it.
