I'd like to think that Dorners legacy will be forgotten simply because he is dead. I think if he was alive then he would still be making headlines. But it was only a manhunt for a couple of days and it was about a topic nobody cared about, so it went into the news shadows quickly. He came off as a crazy SOB to most people, and generally they aren't forgiven by the public for those sort of things.
