I'm reading "The Meaning of Everything" by Simon Winchester. It's about the origins of the Oxford Encyclopedia.
Like all of his books it should be boring as hell but instead it is incredibly interesting.

He'd be good. Just need a sympathetic character strong enough to carry the whole movie single handed...who can also be sufficiently nerd/funnyguy.
