I got my dash cam a couple months ago.
Without seeing them capturing the meteor i likely wouldnt have thought of it.
This is the one i got for $125 off amazon.
This thing is great. Super clear 120 degree wide angle HD, GPS, and speed are recorded. Best camera i own.
The settings are real nice where you can have it turn on with motion and starting the car. Record in 1-15min blocks or 1 giant file that records over itself. The default language was Russian so i had to search on the internet for the setting to change it to english. BTW, it looks like the orange menu is a must if you want to link it up on a PC/Mac.
