Yes it is.
When I went to visit Moscow many years ago we had a drink with a few locals. They were downing bottles of vodka and their chaser was bacon dipped in chocolate. DIPPED IN CHOCOLATE!

Like 5 gallon buckets of caviar and all the ice cold aquavit a man can drink!
Also chillin' in the banya, then jumping into freezing water and whipping yourself with evergreen sprigs.

Russians are awesome.
Just make sure you get a retainer before you start work, and make sure your fees have been wire-transferred before you deliver goods or services to them.
Outside that, they are great to do business with. If you fail to make the previous steps, they can be some of the worst people to do business with.
