At this point I don't see how Man of Steel can be bad, just as serious as the Dark Knight trilogies, and it's nice to not have to see Lex Luthor this time around.
Comic book movies as a whole are fun when done right, although I would get a good laugh if all the characters came out in their tight spandex costumes from the comics.

Comic book movies are a guilty pleasure for me, I was an avid comic book collector when I was a kid.

i've only read v for vendetta and watchmen, and then maybe a couple others when i was a kid. i found those (like a spider man comic) very stupid. v was good, but there was a political message behind it. the movie was fun, although it was wrong. he wasn't against bad government, he was against government.
