Oh, as to your original question, I think that we've supported the theory of evolution as much as we can to this point. Further evidence will not convince people. If they choose to be ignorant, that's their choice.
However, (and I can't find this article anywhere - I just tried), I did read a story recently where we had been thinking that evolution was something that happened over time. Generations of parents and children would eventually choose strong genes and the species would evolve. But, the article pointed to evidence (both observed and created in a lab) where they were able to show that some forms of life were able to change their genes to react to external stimuli, thereby meeting the technical definition of "evolution" within just one or two generations. And, because the genes were actively changed by the body (not a mutation caused by external forces, like radiation) and were then passed onto the children, they were able to say that it was evolution, not mutation or other similar force.
